Q: What video player do you recommend?
A: Download MEDIA PLAYER CLASSIC. Media Player Classic looks just like Windows Media Player 6.4, but has many additional features. It has a built in DVD player with real-time zoom, support for AVI subtitles, QuickTime and RealVideo support (requires QuickTime and/or Real Player); built-in MPEG2/SVCD/DVD codec.

Q: Why can't I play any of the video files (e.g. AVI, XVID, MP4)?
A: Download K-LITE CODEC PACK. K-Lite Codec Pack is a collection of codecs and related tools. Codecs are required to encode and/or decode (play) audio and video. The K-Lite Codec Pack is designed as a user-friendly solution for playing all your movie files. With the K-Lite Codec Pack you should be able to play 99% of all the movies that you download here.

Q: I can't play RMVB (RM) video files, what should I do?
A: Download REAL ALTERNATIVE. Real Alternative will allow you to play RealMedia files (RMVB, RM) without having to install RealPlayer/RealOne Player.

Q: Why can't I view subtitles?
A: Download VOBSUB. Vobsub is a subtitle filter for VirtualDub and DirectShow. Any video player - like Windows Media Player - can handle it.

Q: What are RAR files?
A: Download WINRAR / Download 7-Zip (freeware). RAR is a compression format, it is used to make files smaller and download friendly. To open a RAR file you can use WinRAR or 7-Zip to extract the files.

Q: What are .001 .002 .003 etc?
A: Download HJSPLIT (freeware). HJSplit can join these split parts back together again, so that the original file is restored.
