The last time my computer had these symptoms, I went AWOL for more than a month with no updates and encodes. I have to force my computer to shut down coz it is not stable anymore. I keep getting this weird warning sounds, and it's so hot and it keeps getting shut down when I do encodes, last time it did, my computer died. Right now, I'm using my mom's netbook and she's freaking out I might kill hers too, LOL, and I can't do my encodes in her netbook, she'll throw me out of the house, and I need shelter.
Anyways, I'm halting our Harddisk donation drive coz it's not the priority anymore, I mean what am I gonna do with it without a computer??? The donations I received from the harddisk donation drive will go to my future computer which I will purchase soon if you help me out. I know I'm asking so much and some have given out so much already, and I'm grateful, but if I'm not gonna do this, I WILL BE FORCED TO RETIRE AND GO OUT SEE THE WORLD WITHOUT ANIME AND DORAMA. Will it still be called a Life?
Status as of the moment is to stay still, no encodes from me til I get a new PC. I am so sorry. New episodes from ongoing anime will be Mido's mini-MKV only.
Depending on the donations, I still have to decide whether I can afford a laptop or desktop computer, any Donations are welcome. But if anyone wishes to give me their old computers, you just need to ask for my Home address. Pretty please, Be my Santa.

during my depression yesterday, i saw a few laptops and desktop at the mall, there's a couple i got my eyes on and it's around $700.

ReplyDeleteI've got a mac 2se, performa 6400, quadra 630(though I have no clue where it is atm), power macintosh G3 (Blue & White), its got a bunch of cool hardware updates[which were awesome pre-2004]...
I've also got a toshiba laptop with a dead fan and a 98% dead ac adapter...and i think its only got 512mb of ram...might be a gig though...
